Aiming Shang, M.D. ( China ), L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., received 8 years of formal professional school education in both traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. She is licensed in multiple states and board-certified by the NCCAOM (The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

She has over 17 years of experience in China, New York, Ohio, and Missouri.

Aiming believes that a good acupuncturist and herbologist must understand traditional Chinese medicine theories and Chinese philosophy ( Chi, Yin and Yang, the Five elements, and the Chinese Organ system), which are fundamentally distinct from that of western medicine.
